I was not sue if I should start another thread on removing stains. This is a different type of stain. They are basically dirt marks and other hard to describe what they are. They seem to disappear and come back . The dirt stains really never come clean. I have a Bissell carpet clean I think its called a green machine. Have a steamer made by Mccullough I think paid under $200. I have tried folex stain remover, the various Bissel cleaner such as extra strength pre cleaner max pro carpet cleaner, something you add to make the solution stronger and various other top rated products through amazon. Some times if the stain is not that heavy it comes clean. If the stain is heavier it does not really come clean only lightens it. Recommendations what ele to try. Thank you.

Do you have any photos of this particular issue and are you a consumer or a professional?

Did you put any chemicals on the stains to treat them? Did you mix any chemicals in your bissell?

If you answered yes to any or both of those questions, put just straight water with a little bit of vinegar in your machine only to neutralize the dried chemicals on those spots. Then rinse the heck out of those areas and when you see no more bubbles going through the tool, do about 10 dry passes until no more water is extracted.

Once your'e completely finished doing that and if the spots are gone, fold several paper towels and lay them on the spots with a book on top. What this does and helps with is drying the carpet and if there's any more soil in the carpet, it will wick into the paper towels so it doesn't stay in the carpet, therefore preventing the stains from returning.

If you still see spots after the rinsing process, you need a product like awesome all purpose cleaner. Spray it directly on the spots (If your carpet is synthetic and not wool). Let dwell for about a minute. Then repeat the same rinsing process above

If you still see spots after that, call a professional
